i think collision is a bit busted.... i was also having issues getting to the first layer even when trying to jump from the highest block on the starting layer to the lowest block on the first layer. that was before i couldnt even jump on the first one
Thanks for checking out the game! Hmm.. the video you show does look a little buggy. It is not supposed to look like that. Try it on https://up-n-up-game.herokuapp.com/ to see if it's because of the embed in itch?
na the same thing happened. could it be something with the time scale? cause usually lighter games run at like 300 fps on my pc and it might be messing up whatever technique you are using for collision. try capping the fps if you haven't already. and have a look into the collision code for anything that might be effecting the rate at which tests for collision take place .
yeah it could be, thanks so much for the feedback. I’ll definitely keep that in mind and try to test more on different platforms and systems for my future games!

Same thing happening to me in Chromium on Linux. The non-embedded version works ~1/3 of the time, but otherwise I get the same bug. When it works it's a treat though -- very cute and fun. :)
